GigIndia Raises INR 7.6 Cr in Series A Funding

GigIndia, a Pune-based B2B gig marketplace, has recently announced that it has raised Rs 7.6 crore in Series A funding. The funding came from angel investors, including Anjali Bansal, Founder at Avaana Capital, along with Vineet Patni, former President at Bajaj Allianz.

As mentioned by Sahil Sharma, Co-Founder, and CEO at GigIndia – “With the additional funding, we plan to rapidly scale our business in the country while continuing to invest in talent and technology.”

Further, the company plans to utilize the finance to enhance its technology platform in order to build an extended community of gig workers. This will help in serving contracts signed with the prominent organizations for the year.
