Twitter has sent an email to all Revue users informing them that the platform is shutting down next month. From January 18, 2023, users won’t be able to access their Revue accounts, according to Revue.

The company said in an announcement, “Revue will shut down and all data will be erased on that day. The company is aware of the passionate user base that Revue has, so this decision has been difficult.” Twitter only bought Revue last year with the intention of enabling new ways for creators to monetize their work as part of a larger push to include more monetization tools.

The social media engine also deleted a Twitter account that had been following Musk’s personal flights, something he had vowed not to do and even cited as proof of his commitment to free speech.
