Facebook has announced that users can now broadcast their Messenger Rooms via their Facebook Live. The social media platform has been competing with Zoom since the start of the pandemic and has upped its game by a notch with the latest feature. By allowing broadcast on Facebook Live, the audience reach will be vastly increased.
Facebook Rooms allows 50 users to be involved in a discussion, now the viewership can be increased via Facebook live. Facebook has clarified that the Live users will not be able to join the Rooms video chat, they only can comment and view the conversation via the conventional Facebook Live tools. This functionality will be advantageous for interviews, panel discussions, events hosting, etc.
