Facebook has recently started testing its Live Audio Rooms feature with selected public figures and creators in Taiwan. This initiative is a part of the expansion of the platform’s audio services which will include podcast hosting and creation tools.
There is already a slowdown of Clubhouse downloads and consequently, Twitter is also expanding its audio tools, this new audio option could be a game-changer. The Live Audio Rooms being will allow users to take part in group voice discussions.
It is intended to broaden the trial’s availability as we advance – enabling the service accessible in both Facebook and Messenger applications. Facebook is also integrating the Stars feature within audio chat products, letting users buy tokens to support creators.
