Social media giant Facebook confirmed it has resolved a technical issue that affected some users while accessing Facebook, Workplace, Messenger, and Instagram on Saturday.
“We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” a spokesperson told Reuters.
On Saturday, Facebook, Messenger and Instagram were down for thousands of users, as per Downdetector.com, the outage tracking website. Downdetector tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources, along with user-submitted errors on its platform.
