Facebook has released a new version of the Community Standards Enforcement Report. It consists of all the policy and rule violations that Facebook has taken action on, across Facebook and Instagram platforms from April 2020 through June 2020. This report includes metrics across 12 policies on Facebook and 10 policies on Instagram.
As per the report, there has been a 6% increase in the proactive detection rate for hate speech on Facebook. The total amount of content Facebook took an action on increased from 9.6 million in Q1 to 22.5 million in Q2.
The social network also said it will go through an independent third-party audit to validate the numbers and metrics it publishes in its Community Standards Enforcement Report.
