Facebook launches ML process for better community guidelines compliance

The social media platform has increased the measures to detect and enforce the removal of content that violates community guidelines. It helps to protect users from scams, abuse, misinformation, etc. Online communities have made it possible to mitigate abuse with the help of machine learning models. The majority of the fake accounts removed on Facebook are proactively identified even before users register a complaint.

The process is limited mainly due to the limitations faced by employees to check and pass a review on such findings manually. ML tools are good at identifying issues, but human intervention is still required to confirm the authenticity of detected items.
