Facebook has recently announced a new initiative for its free education sessions and awareness programs – which is a part of the National Black Business Month. The social media giant is collaborating with the US Black Chambers to host the “Black Business August”. This program will celebrate the contributions and offerings of black-owned businesses around the globe.

The primary focus of the program is business education, as well as support throughout the month with an array of free virtual training, expert speeches, and small business panels. As mentioned by Facebook, “The topics will cover a range from building a thriving online community to adapting in uncertain times to getting access to capital and professional networks.”
