Facebook has recently announced that it added new warning tools to protect users from scammers and unwanted attention. It is also planning to increase the focus on guarding minors within the app with the help of machine learning.

The social media giant has launched new warning prompts within Messenger streams – which will seek to help people identify when they might be interacting with any potential scammer.
As mentioned by Facebook, “We’re introducing safety notices in Messenger that will pop up in a chat and provide tips to help people spot suspicious activity and take action to block or ignore someone when something doesn’t seem right.”
