Facebook acquires Kustomer, a New York based software company that helps businesses manage their customer queries from multiple services on one dashboard.
The social media giant will integrate Kustomer’s tools with its messaging platforms, including Messenger and WhatsApp. This will allow businesses and partners to better manage their communications with users.
Kustomer specializes in AI detection of customer queries, responding automatically, based on context, and re-routing messages to human service agents.
AOL and Salesforce veterans Brad Birnbaum and Jeremy Suriel founded Kustomer in 2015, which went on to attract customers including Ring, Sweetgreen, Glossier, Rent the Runway, Away, and Glovo.
