DoubleVerify has entered into an agreement to acquire OpenSlate, a content identification platform focused on connected TV (CTV) and public video, according to a news report. An estimated $ 150 million in cash and stock transactions is expected to close in the current quarter.

Founded in 2012, OpenSlate analyzes videos on brand security, relevance and context and provides “pre-activation” controls to ensure that ads are impactful. The service, available in 37 global markets, works with platforms including Facebook, TikTok and YouTube as well as product clients such as Coca-Cola, Kimberly-Clark, Pfizer and Unilever.

By combining pre-launch campaign tools with its in-flight rating, DoubleVerify aims to provide marketers a solution for improving their efforts.
