Confirming earlier reports that Disney+ would soon expand into e-commerce, the streamer has announced the launch of a new test that will allow Disney+ subscribers to shop exclusive merchandise from brands.

According to the company, Disney+ primary profiles in the U.S. with users who have been verified to be 18 or older will now have access to this shop. The Wall Street Journal broke the news of Disney’s plans to combine streaming and shopping in September, noting that the feature would rely on QR codes that directed users to Disney’s online store.

In order to view and buy the exclusive merchandise, Disney+ subscribers will hold their phones up to the TV screen to scan the QR code, according to the intended experience.
