Demand Science Buys Email Marketing Automation Startup Tidings

 Demand Science, the B2B buyer intelligence platform is acquiring the email marketing automation startup Tidings for an undisclosed value.

David Mihm, the founder of Tidings will join Demand Science as VP, head of product, as part of the deal.

For Demand Science, Tidings appends to a suite of devices designed to aid businesses get to market and sell their solutions to other businesses.

Email marketing has proved relatively robust during the pandemic. Customers have been stuck at the house, scrolling on their smartphones, or browsing the web on a desktop. People who leave their email inboxes open have given email marketers an opportunity.
