Creatd Inc., the parent company of Creatd Studios, today announced its plans to launch a joint venture with Marquis Hayes, or Chef Marq, and his partner Kim Stetz.
Hayes, a native of the Bronx, was arrested in 2002, serving a five-year sentence. Throughout his imprisonment, Marq was determined to change his lifestyle, vowing to use his time in prison to open up new opportunities. Cooking was his passion and his cell became his kitchen.
Creatd said, “With this announcement, we are thrilled to help you tell the wonderful stories of Chef Marq’s personal transformation and redemption, all while trying out a series of storytelling cars — from the foodie podcast, to a series of documents that Marq and Kim can teach about an audience on the history and culture of food and nutrition. “
