Amperity Buys Custora to enhance its customer data platform

Amperity has acquired Custora, a customer analytics platform. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. As a result of the acquisition, Amperity and Custora engineering and product teams will be integrated. Amperity’s technology uses machine learning to match customer records across data sources, allowing marketers to derive actionable insights from their data, and use it for strategizing within different systems.

Kabir Shahani, Amperity’s CEO, and co-founder told Techcrunch that Custora CEO Corey Pierson and the rest of his team would be joining Seattle-based Amperity.
