According to a press release, Amazon and Planet Fitness have partnered to give new Planet Fitness Black Card holders a free Amazon Halo View wellness tracker and a full year of membership from November 7 through November 15. A 15% discount is available to current members during this time.
In order to enter to win one of ten USD 500 Amazon gift cards as part of the partnership, consumers are encouraged to post videos of themselves performing fitness-inspired dances on TikTok with the hashtag #GlowUsYourMoves and tag Planet Fitness.
Following a call to close its Amazon Care business at the end of the year, Amazon can market its wearable to an engaged audience and maintain its foothold in the wellness industry by partnering with one of the biggest fitness franchises in America.
