Amazon Launches New Analytics Tool to Provide Brands with Aggregated Product Data

According to a news release, Amazon has unveiled Store Analytics, a new analytical tool that will offer brands anonymized and aggregated data about the products consumers are finding, contemplating, and buying to help brands improve in-store performance and marketing. 

The data from in-store customers may enable marketers to experiment with more carefully curated selling methods depending on the performance of promotions, availability, and positioning, helping them optimize their in-store marketing, including digital signage. 

Personal information is not included in the shared data, which is safely stored in the cloud but does include information about the performance of particular products and promotions, such as offer totals, averages, and percentages.
