Amazon Expands Its Logistic Centers in Brazil

Amazon has recently announced the opening of three new logistics centers in Brazil – increasing the number of Amazon logistics units to eight in the country.

This will help the e-commerce giant to take advantage of the market that the pandemic has given in South America’s economy. Amazon noted that the units have already started its operations, and the latest expansion is most likely to create 1,500 direct jobs.

Lately, thousands of businesses in the country have migrated to e-commerce channels. This is primarily due to social distancing as well as lockdown measures. Thus, Amazon is seeing rapid growth in Brazilian Amazon Prime subscriptions.
