Accenture Renames It Marketing Services Group to Enhance Focus on Unity

According to a company announcement, Accenture’s Interactive marketing services division will be renamed Accenture Song. With the exception of Droga5, which will continue to operate under its own name, the shift affects the group’s 40-plus agencies, design shops, and other businesses acquired over the last decade.

Droga5 was acquired by Accenture Interactive in 2019, making it the company’s largest acquisition to date. Accenture said the move represents its post-pandemic marketing approach, especially the faster rate of change customers are reacting to in sales, commerce, and marketing, as well as business innovation.

Accenture has recently attempted to diversify its products by making risky bets, such as launching a new metaverse-focused services practice.
