TripAdd, an ancillary services provider from the Blue Ribbon Bags Group, has completed the multi-million dollar acquisition of Eddy Travels. Blue Ribbon Bags Group is set to promote Eddy Travels’ innovative TripAdd AI-driven chatbot solution through its existing relationships with over 300 online travel agencies.

The TripAdd platform will function as a white-label marketplace for providers of travel and ancillary services. Based on the data points provided, it prepares additional third-party service packages for customers with the help of real-time machine learning. Eddy Travels’ experience with machine learning will further expand the platform’s capacity and provide a better user and travel experience for customers within the TripAdd ecosystem.

Several travel vendors have already pledged discounts to the TripAdd platform, enabling partners to offer value-added services to their customers. Partners who integrate TripAdd into their booking process gain access to an ever-expanding range of complementary products, as well as a real-time feed of news from the TripAdd Dashboard.

Eddy Travels will continue to operate the travel chatbot. However, the assistant will now work under the name “EddyAI”. Eddy AI uses machine learning technology to understand natural language and personalize the conversation. It uses artificial intelligence to process messages from users and respond to the most frequent customer questions immediately.
