MGID , the global advertising platform, announced today that it has acquired a majority stake in Metup Native Srl, a leading Italian native advertising network formerly owned by MetUp. This deal marks the next important step in MGID’s global expansion plans.

In 2019, MGID entered the Italian market through the partnership with Metup. Leveraging Metup’s technology, data and expertise has helped MGID enhance its native offering for advertisers and publishers in Italy. This collaboration enabled MGID to expand its reach in the region to over half (55%) of the Italian digital audience through partnerships with premium publishers such as liberoquotidiano.it , ilfattoquotidiano.it , ilfoglio.it , iltempo.it and gds.it widen.
