Mr. Poonen, a proven enterprise SaaS leader with experience scaling multi-billion-dollar businesses and spearheading product innovation, will help guide Icertis in shaping and optimizing its growth trajectory.

From 2006-2013 he served as President at SAP, where he ran analytics, big data, and industry solutions, contributing to the company’s ascent from $10 billion in revenue to $20 billion. Following SAP, he was COO of VMware, a top provider of multi-cloud services for apps, where he oversaw all business functions, led efforts to grow revenue from $7 billion to $12 billion, and ran VMware’s End-User Computing and Security businesses. Mr. Poonen also has extensive board and advisory experience with companies such as Zoom, Infor, Royal Philips NV, and Snyk.
