Atrium Health has announced Michael Parkerson as its new Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President. He will be taking over the position from May 1.
In this role, he will lead consumer engagement, branding, awareness and growth efforts that are part of the marketing and communications strategy at Atrium Health.
Parkerson carries 25 years of experience, by using innovative strategies he builds brand recognition and strategic partnerships. His plan thought leadership skills includes an inclusive, team-building management style and proven expertise in solving business glitches.

Parkerson served 20 years with Blue Cross Blue Shield, a health insurance company. He was the former Chief Marketing Officer and Business Transformation Leader at Blue Cross Blue Shield.
