Affect Announces Three New Client Wins

Affect

Affect, a public relations, marketing and social media agency specializing in technology, healthcare and professional services, announces three clients recently signed to the agency including one pro bono client committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in the tech industry. The account wins drove Affect to close out the year with significant expansion and double digit growth for the agency, despite the challenges and impact of COVID-19 in the first half of the year.

The agency added to its roster:

  • Checkpoint Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the acquisition, development and commercialization of novel treatments for patients with solid tumor cancers. As the public relations agency of record, Affect is charged with raising visibility for and engagement with the company through ongoing thought leadership, content and digital strategies.
  • The ioXt Alliance, the global standard for IoT security, is the world’s first industry-led, global IoT security organization and certification program that works to improve device and mobile application security and provide much needed transparency to consumers. The Alliance brings together major manufacturers and technology disruptors, including Google, Amazon, T-Mobile, Facebook and Comcast, to establish universal security requirements. Affect’s strategic program, designed to further educate, engage and influence companies to join the secure IoT movement, focuses on media relations, thought leadership and content creation.

The software infrastructure engineering training and job placement program prepares diverse college students and recent graduates for and matches them with long-term career opportunities in the high-growth cloud computing sector. The remit for Affect includes educational marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships and executive visibility for the organization’s founders. Affect has taken on Last Mile Talent as a pro bono client as part of its commitment to DE&I in working with clients and causes that support these efforts.

“We are proud that such esteemed organizations have trusted us with the critically important role of helping to build their businesses through strategic public relations, marketing and digital programs,” said Sandra Fathi, president of Affect. “Closing the year with such significant account wins has put the firm back on track despite the challenges of the global pandemic, economic uncertainty and other unprecedented moments throughout the year. We managed to achieve steady growth quarter over quarter, expand our team with top-tier talent and maintain a celebrated people-first culture. We look forward to helping these companies, as well as our long-standing clients, achieve success in 2021 and beyond.”
